In 2023, an increase in road traffic accidents involving minors was recorded in the Vitebsk region. Specifically, one child passenger, one child pedestrian, and one child driver died in five traffic accidents, and 5 child passengers were injured.

Caring for children is our common cause. Child neglect, playing and fooling around on roads, sudden appearance near vehicles, and indifferent attitude of adults towards this are the main causes of accidents involving children on roads.

We appeal to you with a request: if you see children playing on or near the roadway, do not remain indifferent, reprimand the children, and try to take measures to isolate them from traffic.

Parents!

Be especially careful with preschoolers on the street. Do not leave them unattended. Remember that even one wrong step by a child on the roadway, where vehicle traffic is possible, can lead to tragedy. Every time your child leaves home, take the time to remind them of simple rules of behavior on the street.

Be an example for children in observing traffic rules!
