The longest holidays have ended, and schoolchildren are back at their desks. For many students, the academic year began with an important lesson – "Safety Lesson," which was attended by Daria Kapshul, inspector of the propaganda and public relations sector of the Glubokoye Regional Emergency Situations Department, along with characters from beloved cartoons and fairy tales. Thus, as part of the second stage of the campaign "Focus on Children!", safety lessons were launched.

For example, characters from the fairy tale "The Little Speckled Hen" introduced the children to a very important device – a standalone fire alarm. The main character of the fairy tale "Kolobok" told the little ones what could happen if electrical appliances are left plugged in, why it is dangerous to play with sharp objects, pills, and household chemicals. The children promised to remember the most important rule – burning electrical appliances should not be extinguished with water, and much more.

Of course, the "Safety Lesson" was not complete without the beloved thematic cartoon "The Magic Book of the Ministry of Emergency Situations." After watching the thematic cartoon, the children, together with the Ministry of Emergency Situations inspector, practiced actions in case of a fire emergency.

"We know that playing with fire is forbidden, and one must always be careful. In case of a fire, the most important thing is not to panic, to call for adult help, and to call the Ministry of Emergency Situations at 101 or 112," the children shared their advice.

They played the game "Dangerous – Safe," where a radiant sun smiled at the children for safe games and hid when toys appeared that were strictly forbidden to play with.

The emergency service numbers were not left out either: together with the Ministry of Emergency Situations employee, the second-graders learned them "excellently."

To reinforce the acquired knowledge, all the boys and girls were given visual aids on fire safety topics.
