Nina Kirillovna Telesh has been awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of Gluboksky District"

In connection with the 85th anniversary of Gluboksky District and the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, by the decision of the Gluboksky District Council of Deputies, Nina Kirillovna Telesh, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, has been awarded the title "Honorary Citizen of Gluboksky District".

Telesh Nina Kirillovna was born on October 3, 1923, in the village of Litvyaki, Zatsepin Village Council, Osvyey District, Polotsk Region, Belarusian SSR.

In April 1942, she volunteered for the front. She served as a signal operator in the 43rd Anti-Aircraft Searchlight Regiment near Stalingrad. She fought her way from Stalingrad to Berlin.

She has awards – medals "For the Defense of Stalingrad", "For Courage", "For the Capture of Berlin", "For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945", and others.

After demobilization, Telesh N.K. returned to her homeland.

️Nina Kirillovna is now 101 years old, and she prefers to talk about the present, remembering with a heavy heart how she fought for the Motherland.
