Youth for Safety! The Republican Campaign Has Launched

From October 7 to 18, young people will immerse themselves in an atmosphere of safety and patriotism: the republican information and propaganda campaign of the Ministry of Emergency Situations "Youth for Safety!" has been launched in the region.
The goal of the campaign is not only to popularize the activities of the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers and Firefighters but also to inspire the younger generation to take an active civic stance.
As part of the information campaign, rescuers set themselves not one, but several goals. The main ones are to increase the level of public awareness about the activities of the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers and Firefighters, its goals, objectives, and directions.
The "Youth for Safety" campaign will be filled with various events, namely: young people will learn more about the rescuer profession, actively form a safety culture together with Ministry of Emergency Situations employees, promote a healthy lifestyle, and provide targeted patronage assistance.
A key task of the information campaign will be to attract young people to the ranks of young rescuers. Ministry of Emergency Situations employees are convinced that familiarization with the movement will help teenagers not only gain valuable knowledge about safety but also develop qualities such as responsibility, selflessness, and readiness to help others.
Rescuers will pay special attention to elderly citizens. Together with activists of the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers and Firefighters, they will provide patronage assistance to lonely elderly people, disabled individuals, and veterans of the Great Patriotic War. The young people will help tidy up household plots, harvest crops, and prepare firewood.
During the campaign, emphasis will be placed on educational institutions, where, using various forms of work, Ministry of Emergency Situations employees will talk about the activities of the youth association of rescuers and firefighters and, most notably, will present membership cards of the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers and Firefighters.
