And to make this path as safe as possible, employees of the Glubokoye District Department for Emergency Situations do not miss the opportunity to inform young citizens about safety rules.

Together with their parents, children go shopping and purchase necessary school supplies for the academic year. Rescuers, in turn, seize the moment to enrich their knowledge base with life safety rules.

As part of the republican campaign "In the Spotlight – Children!", employees of the District Department for Emergency Situations, along with members of the Belarusian Youth Public Organization of Fire Rescuers, inform young residents of Glubokoye in shopping centers about the causes of fires, and how to behave correctly in emergency situations to preserve life and health. In turn, the children took the "Safety Exam," which consists of various tasks: correctly reporting an emergency to emergency services, arranging "rescue steps," and identifying dangers in an apartment. Each participant who passed the "Safety Exam" received a "Safety Diary" with grades and, of course, a памятка (memorandum).

In the stationery department, an autonomous fire alarm and labels "For children left unsupervised" are prominently displayed, as the main target audience of the campaign includes both children and parents. Thus, rescuers strive to draw public attention to the problem of child injuries and fatalities from external causes and urge parents to ensure a safe childhood for their children.

Rescuers also took the opportunity to teach young residents safety rules at the district summer festival "Palette of Colors and Flowers," and for this purpose

A thematic "Safety ABC" site was set up near the "GUM" shopping center as part of the republican campaign "Focus on Children!".

This time, the safety site was located on the central square near the "GUM" shopping center. A fire truck, where everyone could sit, became its decoration.

Of course, boys and girls could not pass by the equipment, fire-technical armament used by rescuers, and personal protective equipment.

Rescuers told adults about the rules of safe behavior, which, among other things, children should be taught. They gave examples of fires caused by children's mischief with fire and spoke about the consequences that could result from non-childish games.

Children gladly took the "Safety Exam". And in order to practice the procedure for calling rescuers, children dialed the phone numbers 101 and 112 and reported a conditionally occurring emergency situation. Children also had to identify violations in an apartment, pass the "Test Yourself" test, and solve situational cards. The most interesting task of the "Safety Exam" for the children was to take a photo in the rescuers' combat gear.

Having successfully completed all the tasks, the children received their first well-deserved grades in their "Safety Diary".

When sending children back to school, it is important not to forget that a backpack should contain not only stationery but also knowledge of safe behavior rules.
