Attention – children!

In connection with the start of summer holidays, from May 25 to June 05, 2022, the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee will conduct a special set of measures "Attention-Children!" aimed at preventing child road traffic injuries, instilling in young road users skills of safe behavior on the road, and drawing the attention of drivers, parents, and educators to the problem of child injuries.
In connection with the start of summer holidays, from May 25 to June 05, 2022, the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee will conduct a special set of measures "Attention-Children!" aimed at preventing child road traffic injuries, instilling in young road users skills of safe behavior on the road, and drawing the attention of drivers, parents, and educators to the problem of child injuries.
Child safety is our common concern. Neglected children, games and pranks on the roads, sudden appearances near vehicles, and indifference of adults to these issues are the main causes of accidents involving children on the roads.
We appeal to you with a request: if you see children playing on or near the roadway, do not remain indifferent, reprimand the children, and try to take measures to isolate them from traffic. During the special complex of measures, drivers are obliged to drive with low beam headlights or daytime running lights (if available) switched on. Failure to comply with this traffic rule requirement entails administrative responsibility.
Parents!
Be especially careful with preschoolers on the street. Do not leave them unattended. Remember that even one wrong step by a child on the roadway, where traffic is possible, can lead to tragedy. Every time your child leaves home, take the time to remind them of the simple rules of behavior on the street.
Be an example for children in observing traffic rules!
On May 27, 2022, a Unified Event will be held on the territory of the Republic of Belarus.
Traffic Safety Day under the slogan "Let's Make Summer Safe Together!". The purpose of this event is the prevention of child road traffic injuries in anticipation of the summer holidays.
