On the safety of schoolchildren during spring break

To prevent emergencies involving children and ensure their general safety during the spring break, Glubokoye rescuers organized an excursion to the fire and rescue post in Zyabki for children from the school camp.
To prevent emergencies involving children and ensure their general safety during the spring break, Glubokoye rescuers organized an excursion to the fire and rescue post in Zyabki for children from the school camp.
As part of the event, rescuers familiarized schoolchildren with the conditions of service and life of rescuers, where they learned about the fire fighting equipment in service and the equipment that allows rescuers to perform their tasks quickly and efficiently. The children gladly tried on the rescuers' combat gear and even held a real fire hose. They were reminded of simple but important safety rules that must be followed at home, on the street, or at school. The issue of actions in case of fire and the danger that fire poses was also addressed. When asked by the rescuers which number to call to summon firefighters, the answer was not long in coming, and almost all the children correctly named the numbers "101" and "112". The schoolchildren showed great interest in practicing evacuation skills in the smoke chamber and even looked at the training tower, where they learned what rescuers use it for.
At the end of the events, the children received bright and colorful brochures from the rescuers. But most importantly, during the spring break, each of them learned what a proper rest should be like and how to behave to avoid trouble.
