On safety in work collectives

On May 24, Andrey Baltruk, Deputy Head of the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, visited the Gluboksky district, where he met with the work collectives of the dairy canning plant and housing and communal services.

In his speech, the Ministry of Emergency Situations employee informed the attendees about the operational situation regarding fires and deaths on them in the Vitebsk region and the district, and provided several specific examples. They recalled the rules for burning garbage on household plots and the inadmissibility of burning dry vegetation and stubble in the root.

Andrey Nikolaevich reminded citizens of the importance of installing autonomous fire alarms in residential premises and gave examples of their positive activation. The issue of leaving children unattended, especially during summer holidays, was discussed separately.

At the end of the meeting, the Ministry of Emergency Situations representative explained how to effectively use a fire extinguisher in case of emergencies, and also focused on the priority actions of the personnel.
