On certain issues of working with citizens' appeals

Over 12 months of 2022, the district prosecutor's office received 62 appeals from citizens, of which 30 were considered on their merits directly by the prosecutor's office staff.

Over 12 months of 2022, the district prosecutor's office received 62 appeals from citizens, of which 30 were considered on their merits directly by the prosecutor's office staff.

Out of the resolved appeals, 6 appeals were fully satisfied by the district prosecutor's office, 2 were partially satisfied, 28 appeals were sent to other departments for resolution, and 4 appeals were left without substantive consideration during the reporting period.

The majority of citizen appeals resolved directly by the district prosecutor's office concerned issues of supervision over the enforcement of legislation, including 1 appeal regarding compliance with labor legislation, 5 appeals regarding compliance with legislation when bringing citizens to administrative responsibility, 2 appeals regarding compliance with housing legislation, and 1 appeal regarding compliance with land legislation, and 2 appeals regarding the organization of work with citizen appeals.

Based on the results of considering citizen appeals in 2022, the district prosecutor's office issued 2 resolutions to revoke procedural decisions made by investigators, 1 resolution to revoke procedural decisions made by inquiry officers, sent 1 demand, filed 2 lawsuits in the interests of citizens, issued 1 submission, and provided assistance in obtaining necessary documents.

In addition to resolving written citizen appeals, the district prosecutor's office staff received 68 individuals in person during the specified period. Appeals from 12 citizens were received at their place of residence and work, and 9 appeals were received at their place of detention.
