Laureates of the honorary title "Person of the Year of Vitebsk Region-2024" have been determined

The celebration of the laureates of the honorary title «Man of the Year of Vitebsk Region - 2024» took place in the Summer Amphitheater of Vitebsk.

Among the laureates is a representative of the Gluboksky district – Rolich Valery Stanislavovich, chief engineer of the State Enterprise «Glubokskaya Mobile Mechanized Column – 48».

A delegation from the Gluboksky district, headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Gluboksky District Executive Committee, Sergey Kashmilo, was present at the event.

– It is symbolic that the celebration takes place on the eve of the Labor Day holiday, – noted Alexander Subbotin, Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, welcoming the participants of the event. – After all, it is labor that is the foundation of the well-being and development of any region. Today we honor remarkable people whose labor, talent, and professionalism enrich the Vitebsk region, contributing to its economic, social, and cultural progress. Our laureates are the pride of the Dvina region. Among them are representatives of various professions: doctors, teachers, agricultural and industrial workers, forestry, construction, architecture and housing and communal services, military personnel and rescuers, figures in science, culture and sports, labor veterans and youth. Each of them makes a unique contribution to the common treasury of achievements, demonstrating high professionalism, dedication to their work, and sincere love for their native land.

Valery Rolich, laureate of the honorary title «Man of the Year of Vitebsk Region-2024», chief engineer of the State Enterprise «Glubokskaya PMK – 48» said:

– The fact that I have been awarded the honorary title «Man of the Year of Vitebsk Region-2024» was a pleasant surprise for me. This year, for the first time, the celebration of the laureates took place in the Summer Amphitheater of Vitebsk on the eve of Labor Day.

I am proud of my profession and grateful to the district and the region for the high appraisal of my work.
