Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Kirill led the celebrations at the Polotsk Holy Euphrosyne Convent

A Divine Liturgy was held in the St. Sophia Cathedral, after which the participants of the festive service and pilgrims proceeded in a cross procession to the Holy Euphrosyne Stavropegial Convent. On their way, the participants of the cross procession laid flowers at the monument to the Reverend Mother, located on Freedom Square. Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill led the celebrations at the Polotsk Holy Euphrosyne Convent.
The meeting with His Holiness the Vladyka took place in the Exaltation of the Cross Cathedral of the Polotsk Holy Euphrosyne Convent. The celebrations are attended by Deputy Prime Minister Natalya Petkevich, Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavl, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus Veniamin, Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin, Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Dmitry Demidov, Plenipotentiary Representative for Religious and National Affairs Alexander Rumak, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation to the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation Dmitry Mezentsev, Governor of Smolensk Region Vasily Anokhin.
