Following a lawsuit by the prosecutor of the Gubkovsky district, the amount of damages for spoilage of silage was recovered from the officials of the agricultural enterprise.

The Prosecutor of Glubokoe District, based on Articles 400 and 402 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Belarus, filed a lawsuit in the interests of an agricultural enterprise against the head, former head, chief agronomist, chief veterinarian, chief livestock specialist, and former farm manager to recover damages totaling 18,747.74 rubles caused by the spoilage of silage.

During supervisory activities, the district prosecutor's office established that 416 tons of feed were spoiled due to water flooding the silage trench.

For reference. Silage preparation is only possible under anaerobic conditions, which can only be achieved with prepared ground sites and proper feed sealing.

However, during the loading of silage mass into storage and its subsequent preservation, the requirements of veterinary and sanitary rules and technical regulations governing the production, transportation, and storage of feed were not observed.

As a result of the dishonest performance of their labor duties by the head, former head, chief agronomist, chief veterinarian, chief livestock specialist, and former farm manager, who were responsible for ensuring control over feed preparation and preservation, the agricultural organization suffered damages in the amount of 18,747.74 rubles.

The Glubokoe District Court partially granted the prosecutor's claims, taking into account the degree of fault, specific circumstances, and the financial situation of the defendants.

The court's decision has not yet entered into legal force and may be appealed.
