Political Headquarters, a Thrilling Analysis at "Belarusfilm", Drones and Dairy Shores. President's Weekly Review

The President of Belarus's work schedule is always full of events. Alexander Lukashenko holds meetings and working sessions on the most pressing issues of the country's development, regularly visits regions, makes foreign visits, and receives foreign guests himself, communicates with journalists, and signs decrees and laws. And even when there are no public events, it does not mean that the head of state is not working. However, even during leisure time, whether it's a hockey practice or chopping wood, Alexander Lukashenko finds an opportunity for another assignment. As he likes to say, one must always proceed from life.
One of the week's main events was Alexander Lukashenko's meeting with the country's political headquarters – the leadership of the Presidential Administration. The main topics were personnel, the activities of the ideological vertical, improving legislation and control over the implementation of the head of state's assignments, working with citizens' appeals, and the role of presidential aides.
The head of state visited the "Belarusfilm" studio. An honest conversation with filmmakers had been long overdue – Alexander Lukashenko, and with him the whole country, expects creative returns on invested funds.
In the Berezovsky district of the Brest region, Alexander Lukashenko visited the center for training and application of unmanned aerial systems. Drones are currently at the peak of popularity in military affairs, but the President advises against focusing on just one direction and to "proceed from the ground." Furthermore, Belarus has developed body armor that is in no way inferior to the best foreign counterparts.
The President also visited the Grodno region. In Volkovysk, he visited OJSC "Bellakt." The enterprise specializes in the production of dairy products, including infant formula. A promising investment project was discussed, which will significantly increase exports and expand the geography of supplies.
A significant topic of the week in the Head of State's statements was the availability of potatoes in trade – an issue that was largely artificially inflated on social media. Alexander Lukashenko returned to this topic at several events, but commented on it most thoroughly at a meeting with the leadership of the Presidential Administration. It turns out that certain individuals artificially created a shortage, and the matter had a political undertone. The President also signed a decree obliging retail chains and suppliers to ensure the availability of vegetables in stores during the off-season.
Another high-ranking guest from Beijing visited Minsk this week – Zhang Qingwei, Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress and Chairman of the High-Level Committee for Cooperation between the Legislative Bodies of Belarus and China. Alexander Lukashenko met with him at the Palace of Independence, speaking about the agreement with PRC Chairman Xi Jinping to do everything possible so that no storms or blizzards could disrupt the unity of the two countries. This week, Alexander Lukashenko congratulated his Chinese counterpart on his birthday.
Another event was a meeting with representatives of the Kaliningrad region, led by Governor Alexey Besprozvannykh. This Russian exclave is very close to Belarus in various senses, and the delegation that arrived in Minsk included three natives of our country.
Medical workers celebrate their professional holiday. In his congratulatory message, Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that time presents the industry with global challenges: to continue topical scientific research at a steady pace, implement advanced technologies, and nurture young specialists – worthy successors to the best traditions of domestic medicine.
This week, Alexander Lukashenko congratulated his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Russia Day, reaffirming the importance of developing allied relations and strategic partnership.
The President sent greetings to the participants, organizers, and guests of the XXIV National Festival of Belarusian Song and Poetry.
The Head of State sent condolences to the President of India Draupadi Murmu and the Prime Minister of that country Narendra Modi in connection with the plane crash in the city of Ahmedabad.
