Ivan Nikitich Stetsenko, born on July 22, 2017, was diagnosed at the age of 4 with a severe fatal disease – Duchenne-Becker muscular dystrophy. Children with this condition gradually lose their ability to move throughout their lives, eventually losing the ability to walk, swallow, and breathe as their muscles deteriorate. The disease slowly kills the child.

Given the rapid progression of the disease, a decision was made to administer the drug ELEVEIDYS, which is extremely expensive at $2,900,000 USD. This drug is administered once and offers a chance to preserve the body's functions that have not yet been lost (gene replacement therapy). This life-saving injection can be administered in the UAE.

Due to the extremely high cost of the medication, the boy's family cannot afford to purchase it themselves. Therefore, the family is requesting assistance in fundraising.
