Procedure for receiving the "Attention to all!" signal

To ensure timely notification of all types of hazards and instructions for protective measures, a warning system has been established in Belarus, operating at the republican, territorial, local, and facility levels. Emergency warning signals are transmitted via radio and television broadcasting networks, wired communication, and SMS messages to mobile phones. Sirens are also activated, and signals from vehicles and street loudspeakers are used.

First and foremost, the warning signal "Attention All!" is broadcast to attract people's attention. It can be recognized by the sound of electric sirens and other signaling devices lasting for 3 minutes. If you hear such a signal at home, you should immediately turn on your radio or television. During this time, an emergency message will be broadcast, detailing the emergency situation and providing all necessary recommendations for subsequent actions.

If you are at work, shut down equipment. Prepare the wired broadcasting nodes located in the alerted area, and turn on the radio or television. Inform others about the received signal and prepare to listen to the voice information. Further actions should be determined directly by these instructions.

Chemically hazardous facilities have their own local warning systems, which must be kept in a state of constant readiness to transmit signals and information. This system is used to inform not only the management and personnel of the facility about the danger but also the population within the potential impact zone.
