Sequence of actions for evacuation in emergency situations from an educational institution

As part of the republican campaign "Safety Day. Attention Everyone!" rescuers remind of the procedure for evacuation from educational institutions in emergency situations:

EVACUATION

Upon hearing the alarm, students (preschool pupils) should stand by their desks and, at the instruction of the teacher or caregiver responsible for the class (group), leave the classroom (group) and calmly proceed to the assembly point (area in front of the educational institution) via the nearest exit. Evacuation in case of heavy smoke should be carried out by crawling (a safe zone is 40 cm from the floor). It is strictly forbidden to return to the classroom, even if personal belongings have been left behind.

Do not: run, push, or shove each other!

The teacher (caregiver) who conducted the lesson in the classroom (activity in the group) directs the students' actions, with students from the back desks evacuating first. Younger students are evacuated first. Older students assist the younger ones.

The teacher (caregiver), taking the class register, is the last to leave the classroom, leaving the windows and doors of the classroom (group) closed, but not locked!

ASSEMBLY

The assembly point is the area in front of the educational institution. Upon arrival at the assembly point, each class (group) must occupy its designated spot and remain there until further notice.

ROLL CALL

Upon arrival at the assembly point, the teacher (caregiver) responsible for the class (group) evacuation conducts a roll call. They then report the results of the class (group) evacuation to the school principal or their deputy (head of preschool or their deputy): class (group) number, number of students on the list, number of students present at the lesson, number of children evacuated.

Any missing students must be immediately reported to the school administration or the fire chief.
