Security Post: Interactive Meeting with City Residents

Last weekend, at one of the city's shopping centers, MES (Ministry of Emergency Situations) employees set up an interactive safety post where every visitor could get answers to pressing questions, test their knowledge, and learn about the republican information campaign "Children are not adults! Do not leave them alone!".

MES employees always strive to make the topic of safety closer and more understandable for everyone. Rescuers communicated with visitors, explained how to act in emergency situations, and reminded them of the importance of vigilance in everyday life and outdoors, especially during the cleanup of adjacent territories. City residents actively engaged in conversations: they asked about fire safety rules, inquired about the correct way to call emergency services, and clarified nuances of safe behavior for children at home and during outdoor activities.
For adults and teenagers, rescuers prepared a short interactive quiz. Anyone could draw a ticket with a question. MES employees not only tested knowledge but also explained each answer in detail, analyzed common mistakes, and provided practical recommendations.
Young city residents were also involved. They happily recited emergency service numbers and answered questions from the cartoon "The Magic Book of MES."
MES employees paid special attention to parents. Rescuers informed them about the "Children are not adults! Do not leave them alone" campaign, aimed at reducing child injuries and fostering a responsible attitude towards children's safety among adults. Parents were reminded that children cannot assess risks the same way adults do, and even situations left unattended "for a minute" can become dangerous.
"Personal example is, of course, the strongest tool for upbringing," say representatives of the "101" service.
"Sometimes it seems like a child understands everything, but meetings like these remind us: our attentiveness is their safety," adds one of the mothers.
For shopping center visitors, the safety post served as a reminder of the importance of adhering to safety rules.
