Each appliance must be operated in accordance with the instructions. Preventive inspection and repair should be carried out by a specialist electrician. It is not recommended to connect several high-power electrical appliances to the mains simultaneously.

If household appliances catch fire, the house must be de-energized or electrical appliances must be unplugged from the socket, if it is safe for your life.

If the burning electrical appliance is still under electrical voltage, then a small fire can be extinguished by covering the burning area with soil from a flower pot, laundry detergent, or baking soda. These substances will stop the access of air, and therefore oxygen, to the burning area and extinguish the fire.
