Preventive Decade “Attention! Self-propelled Machines and Tractors”

From April 01 to April 10, a preventive decade "Attention! Self-Propelled Machines and Tractors" will be held in the Vitebsk region.

The Department of Internal Affairs of the Public Security Service of the Glubokoye District Department of Internal Affairs, together with representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Food, as well as the State Technical Supervision Inspectorate for the Vitebsk Region

The purpose of this decade is to prevent road traffic accidents involving self-propelled and tractor equipment.

Self-propelled machines – tracked tractors, agricultural, road, construction and other machines – are not intended for road traffic without additional safety measures provided by the manufacturer. When a self-propelled machine is moving on the road, an orange flashing beacon must be activated.

Dear drivers, do not forget one of the requirements of the Traffic Rules: the driver is obliged to keep the vehicle participating in road traffic in a technically sound condition, check its technical condition before starting to move, and also keep its windows and external lighting devices clean.
