Preventive campaign «Cybersecurity Week»

From January 19 to 25, a preventive campaign "Cybersecurity Week" will be held in the Vitebsk region, aimed at preventing cybercrimes.

During the campaign, law enforcement officers will visit educational institutions, work collectives of enterprises and organizations, during which they will talk about the main types of cybercrimes and fraud.

The police remind about the increased number of fraud cases. Attackers, posing as employees of various services, try to obtain personal data, access codes, and bank card details. Subsequently, they call on behalf of police officers, the KGB, the Department of Financial Investigations, and the Investigative Committee in order to steal citizens' money.
