From June 25 to June 30, a preventive event aimed at preventing traffic accidents related to entering the oncoming lane and speeding will be held in the Glubokoye district.

When driving, a driver must remember that a car is a means of increased danger, and not only their life but also the lives of other road users depend solely on the driver's actions and strict adherence to traffic rules. Choosing a speed that does not correspond to road conditions and violating overtaking rules are the most common causes of road traffic accidents.

According to Article 18.13, Part 9 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus, a person driving a vehicle who violates overtaking rules or enters the oncoming lane in cases where it is prohibited by traffic rules is subject to a fine ranging from 2 to 10 basic units, with or without deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to 1 year. If these actions result in a hazardous situation, the offender faces a fine ranging from 5 to 20 basic units, with or without deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to 2 years.

During the preventive measures, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Glubokoye District Department of Internal Affairs will patrol potentially dangerous sections of republican and local roads using covert and mixed traffic control.
