However, despite this, there are irresponsible drivers on the roads who categorically refuse to realize what such antics can lead to.

Thus, in order to prevent road traffic accidents involving drunk and unlicensed drivers, as well as to stop instances of such drivers operating vehicles, from March 7 to March 11, the Department of State Automobile Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Department of the Glubokoe District Executive Committee will hold a preventive event called "DRUNK AND UNLICENSED DRIVERS HAVE NO PLACE ON THE ROAD!".

During this period, as part of raid activities, employees will strengthen control on all sections of the street and road network of the city of Glubokoe and the Glubokoe district. Special attention will be paid to places with a high probability of drunk or unlicensed drivers behind the wheel.

Dear drivers, the State Automobile Inspectorate urges you to refrain from driving a vehicle while intoxicated or without a license. Remember, such antics lead to real tragedies on the road, where people can die. In addition, driving while intoxicated is subject to administrative liability with a fine and deprivation of the right to engage in certain activities. The penalty depends on the concentration of absolute ethyl alcohol in the blood or exhaled air. With a concentration from 0.3 to 0.8 per mille – a fine of 100 basic units with deprivation of the right to engage in certain activities for 3 years. In case of an absolute ethyl alcohol concentration of 0.8 per mille or higher – the fine will be 200 basic units, and the period of deprivation of the right to engage in certain activities will be 5 years.

To operate a vehicle

is permitted only after completing a driver training course at educational institutions and obtaining the right to drive the corresponding category.
