By the decision of the Hlybokaye District Executive Committee dated January 15, 2014, No. 38, a "crisis" room was established in the Hlybokaye District.
A "crisis" room is a specially equipped facility intended for the provision of temporary shelter services for victims of human trafficking; persons who have suffered from domestic violence, natural and man-made emergencies; persons from among orphans and children left without parental care, who arrived in the district upon distribution to their first place of employment before their housing issues are resolved.
The main objectives of the "crisis" room are:
· provision of temporary shelter services;
· provision of psychological assistance and support;
· assistance in analyzing life situations and alternatives, focusing on independent problem-solving;
· assistance in restoring lost social connections and family contacts.
Citizens apply for temporary shelter services independently or by referral from the Department of Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of the Hlybokaye District Executive Committee, the healthcare institution "Hlybokaye Central District Hospital," the district internal affairs department, or other state bodies and organizations.
The basis for placement in the "crisis" room is a referral from one of the aforementioned bodies and a written application from the citizen, registered in the prescribed manner. A social services agreement is concluded with the citizen. Upon admission to the "crisis" room, the citizen signs a non-disclosure agreement regarding the location and consent to the internal regulations of the "crisis" room.
The duration of stay depends on the specific circumstances and individual characteristics of the persons seeking assistance. The stay in the "crisis" room is based on the principle of self-service. Temporary shelter services are provided free of charge. The operating hours of the "crisis" room are 24/7.
