Prevention of domestic violence

On April 19, 2023, A.N. Kurilenok, Deputy Prosecutor of Gluboksky District, supported the state prosecution in a criminal case initiated under Article 154 of the Criminal Code against a resident of the agro-town of Chernevichi, Gluboksky District, who systematically beat his wife.

Following the court hearing, a preventive conversation was held with residents of the Prozorki rural executive committee who are prone to alcohol abuse and domestic disputes.

The attendees were also informed about criminal liability for committing acts that fall under the signs of crimes provided for by Articles 153, 154, and 186 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
