The Prosecutor's Office of the Glubokoye District informs

The law enforcement and other state bodies of the Glubokoye District are carrying out constant and targeted work to combat corruption. Through the joint efforts of all interested departments, the most dangerous manifestations of corruption – corruption-related crimes – are identified and suppressed annually in the district. In total, 219 crimes were registered in the district in 2022. Of the 219 crimes registered in 2022, 2 were corruption-related crimes, which amounted to 0.91%. In 2022, the Glubokoye District Prosecutor's Office conducted 5 general supervisory inspections of compliance with anti-corruption legislation, resulting in 2 criminal cases being initiated, 12 corruption offenses identified, 5 submissions and 4 orders prepared, 2 persons brought to administrative liability, 14 persons brought to disciplinary liability, 1 person issued an official warning, and upon the prosecutor's demand, measures were taken to reimburse the budget for unlawfully obtained funds by 1 person. The most common offenses identified by the prosecutor's office last year included violations by state officials or persons equated to them of the procedure established by legislative acts for preventing conflicts of interest, declaring income and property, conducting procurement procedures, etc. Analysis of the causes and conditions of committed corruption offenses shows that the most common reasons for their commission remain the pursuit of personal enrichment, as well as the desire to conceal shortcomings and omissions in work, avoid material and disciplinary liability, create an appearance of economic well-being, fulfill performance indicators, etc. In 2022, a number of organizational and practical measures aimed at combating corruption in the region were carried out in the district by interested bodies and services; relevant work will continue in 2023.
