The Republic of Belarus is a party to the UN Convention against Corruption. By the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Ratification of the United Nations Convention against Corruption," the Prosecutor General's Office is designated as the coordinating body for its implementation.
In accordance with Article 13 of the said Convention, each State Party shall take appropriate measures to promote active participation of individuals and groups outside the public sector in the prevention of and the fight against corruption, to enhance public understanding of the fact that corruption is an illicit act and that it poses a threat to sustainable development, security and the rule of law, and to foster integrity, and a genuine commitment to a corruption-free society.
In order to organize constructive international cooperation, create an atmosphere of intolerance towards corruption, and take joint effective measures to combat this negative social phenomenon, Belarus, along with Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Russia, actively participates in the activities of the Interstate Council for Combating Corruption, a sectoral cooperation body of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation annually organizes the International Youth Contest of Social Anti-Corruption Advertising "Together Against Corruption!", which is open for participation from any country.
The co-organizers of the contest are the Prosecutor General's Offices of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Armenia, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Contestants (individuals or creative teams) aged 10 to 25 are invited to prepare thematic social advertising in the nominations "Best Drawing," "Best Poster," and "Best Video."
It is expected that the contest entries will reflect modern state mechanisms for combating corruption at all levels and in all spheres of society and state life, as well as the role and significance of international cooperation in this area.
Submissions are accepted on the official website of the international competition www.anticorruption.life until October 1, 2025. The competition rules are also available there.
The international competition consists of two stages.
The first stage – the semi-final – will be held from May 1 to October 1, 2025, separately in each country. Submissions in each nomination will be evaluated by national competition committees. An awards ceremony is planned based on the results.
Winning submissions from the first stage will advance to the second stage – the final, which will take place in October-November 2025. During the final, the International Competition Jury will determine the winners and prize-winners in each nomination. A formal awards ceremony with diplomas, valuable gifts, and commemorative prizes is planned to be held in Moscow, timed to coincide with the International Anti-Corruption Day (December 9).
