The award ceremony for the laureates of the honorary title "Person of the Year of Vitebsk Region-2025" has taken place

A delegation from the Gluboksky district took part in the solemn award ceremony for the laureates of the honorary title "Man of the Year of Vitebsk Region-2025".

A festive atmosphere reigned in the "Vitebsk" concert hall. The best people of the region were honored here – the laureates of the title "Man of the Year of Vitebsk Region-2025".

A real taste fair from the best enterprises of the region was organized in the foyer, and the products of the Gluboksky district became its real decoration. Our giants – the dairy and canning plant and the meat processing plant – treated guests to their famous delicacies.

Aromatic sausages, the most delicate cheeses, and, of course, that very condensed milk, loved since childhood – there was a real buzz at the tasting tables of our enterprises!

The solemn event dedicated to honoring the laureates of the honorary title "Man of the Year of Vitebsk Region-2025" began with a welcome speech by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Rogozhnik.

As the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee emphasized, the working person has always been and remains the main asset of the state, thanks to professionalism and dedication to work. Hardworking people with great potential live and work in the Vitebsk region.

– The year 2026 marks the start of a new five-year period. The socio-economic development program for our country for 2026-2030 has been approved. We have many challenging but important tasks ahead of us that we must tackle together. Special attention should be paid to the industrial complex, modernization of the agricultural sector and revival of villages, and the search for new growth points in the economy. The tourism potential of the Vitebsk region, its natural uniqueness and rich cultural heritage will not be overlooked, – noted the head of the region, expressing confidence that thanks to common purposefulness and discipline, we will be able to overcome all difficulties and make the northern region comfortable and prosperous.

In the nomination "Housing and Communal Services and Road Management, Construction and Architecture, Fuel and Energy Complex, Communications, Transport and Logistics," the honorary title "Person of the Year of Vitebsk Region-2025" was awarded to Alexander Ivanovich Senkevich, a green construction worker at the landscaping unit of the unitary enterprise of housing and communal services of the Gluboksky district.

In the nomination "Social Sphere (Social Protection of the Population, Culture, Education, Science, Sports, Healthcare, Youth)," the honorary title "Person of the Year of Vitebsk Region-2025" was awarded to Andrey Mikhailovich Pankrat, editor-in-chief of the district newspaper "Vesnik Glybochchyny."

Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Rogozhnik expressed sincere gratitude to the laureates for their work:

– I wish all those present and your work collectives strong health, well-being, and new successes for the benefit of the Vitebsk region and the country!

The ceremony honoring the laureates was held for the 17th time. During this period, over twelve hundred people have become its recipients.

A concert program was prepared for the laureates and honored guests, which provided new reasons for smiles and bright emotions.
