August 22, 2023

Rescuers are paying close attention to the preparation of agricultural machinery for the harvest. After all, the main task is not only to gather the harvest, but also to be able to preserve what so much time and effort has been spent on.

To prevent fires at agricultural production facilities, including those related to fodder procurement and storage, grain harvesting, processing, and storage, Ruslan Vladimirovich Ermakovich, Deputy Head of the Glubokoe District Department for Emergency Situations, conducted a check of fodder harvesting machinery at agricultural enterprises in the district.

One of the main tasks during the harvesting campaign is to prevent fires. During this busy period, employees of agricultural enterprises should observe safety rules in accordance with current legislation.

Special attention is paid to the equipment being equipped with primary fire extinguishing means, its provision with spark arresters, the fire safety status of grain storage and processing sites, and whether employees have certificates of completion of training under the fire-technical minimum program. Checks were also carried out on the knowledge of actions in case of emergency situations for farm workers. The purpose of these raids and measures is to bring facilities and equipment into a state where the risk of an emergency is minimized.

In case of fire, call 101 or 112!
