The work of a deputy in the constituency: Anatoly Sivko held a reception of citizens in the Gluboksky district and met with the staff of the Gluboksky MCC

On January 27, a reception for citizens was held in the Gluboksky district, conducted by Anatoly Sivko, Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. Petr Belus, Chairman of the Gluboksky District Executive Committee, also took part in the discussion of issues concerning the region's residents.

Three appeals were considered during the reception. The first concerned the activities of the joint Belarusian-Austrian closed joint-stock insurance company "Kupala". The second appeal was related to the issue of excluding the position of "instructor-disinfector" from the list of medical positions. The third issue touched upon a topic relevant to rural areas – the repair of the road leading to the village of Checheli.

Comprehensive explanations and consultations were provided for each of the appeals. Work with citizens' appeals remains an important area of activity for the parliamentary corps and local authorities.

As part of the Unified Information Day, a meeting between the staff and representatives of the authorities was held at the Gluboksky Dairy and Canning Plant. Anatoly Sivko, Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, and Petr Belus, Chairman of the Gluboksky District Executive Committee, held a dialogue with the enterprise's employees.

The central theme of the discussion was the main provisions and strategic objectives outlined by President Alexander Lukashenko in his address to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly. This programmatic document, presented at the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, defines the development vector of our country for the next five years, from 2026 to 2030.

Anatoly Sivko elaborated on the key aspects of the Head of State's speech. Initially, the results of the past five-year period were summarized, noting significant achievements: stable economic growth, strengthening of industrial potential, and successful promotion of Belarusian goods in global markets. Achievements in strengthening the country's energy independence through the commissioning of the Belarusian NPP and the growth of Belarus's tourism attractiveness were highlighted separately.

Subsequently, the discussion turned to strategic objectives for the future. Among the main priorities is achieving technological sovereignty. This means developing our own high technologies, from microelectronics and robotics to modern pharmaceuticals. Significant attention will be paid to import substitution, localization of production, and deepening industrial cooperation, including with international partners.

Such important areas as digital transformation of the economy, development of the agro-industrial complex for ensuring food security, and improving the quality and competitiveness of domestic products were also not overlooked.

The report placed special emphasis on strengthening the country's defense capability, developing a national demographic policy aimed at supporting families and increasing the birth rate, and improving the education system for training new-generation personnel. In the field of geopolitics, Belarus will continue its course towards strengthening strategic partnerships with Russia, China, and the BRICS and SCO countries.

In conclusion, the main programmatic goals were outlined: building a self-sufficient and competitive state, developing human capital, establishing strong regions, and ensuring national security.

The meeting was held in an open dialogue format. The plant workers had the opportunity to ask Anatoly Sivko and Petr Belus questions that concerned them, and to discuss both state-level tasks and current issues of the district's life.
