A ten-day campaign to improve the safety of citizens' lives has been completed in the Glubokoe district over the weekend.

As part of this campaign, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and healthcare, as well as officers of internal affairs bodies, visited more than 200 households and apartments. These included individuals registered for preventive measures due to offenses committed under the influence of alcohol, unemployed individuals, those abusing alcohol, and individuals living with and supported by pensioners.

Over the weekend, Saturday and Sunday, the work was concentrated in the town of Glubokoe, as the majority of the aforementioned households are located within the town limits.

During their visits, rescuers reminded citizens about the dangers of smoking in bed and the importance of equipping living rooms with autonomous fire alarms. They also shared examples of successful rescues. Healthcare workers discussed the harmful effects of alcohol and smoking, while police officers reminded residents of their responsibility for committing crimes and offenses while intoxicated.

During the raids, attention was also paid to the fire-hazardous period. Many citizens were in their yards, tidying up and burning trash. Ministry of Emergency Situations employees reminded them that burning dry vegetation is prohibited and that bonfires must be made in designated areas under supervision, with the mandatory presence of primary fire extinguishing equipment.

Upon completion of the discussions, all homeowners were provided with visual materials and received recommendations on how to bring their households into a fire-safe condition.
