On April 24, 2020, the republican preventive campaign “House without violence” is being held, the events of which are aimed at preventing crimes and offenses in the sphere of family and domestic relations. The Criminal and Administrative Legislation of the Republic of Belarus provides for a number of articles of the codes, the effect of which in certain cases extends to citizens committing domestic crimes.

A protective order may be applied to an offender in connection with domestic violence, which imposes the following prohibitions:

to communicate with the victim;

to attempt to find out the whereabouts of the victim;

to visit the place where the victim is located;

to dispose of common joint property;

the obligation to temporarily leave (from 3 to 30 days) the common living space with the victim.
