The Republican campaign "Safe New Year" starts on December 15

New Year and Christmas are the most anticipated and beloved holidays that bring joy and unite families. However, it is during the festive days that the risk of emergencies increases: unexpected dangers can lurk at home, on the street, and even when visiting. To help the country's residents celebrate the holidays safely and peacefully, the Ministry of Emergency Situations is holding an annual republican preventive campaign "Safe New Year!". This year, the campaign will run from December 15 to January 07. As part of it, rescuers will conduct preventive events, safety lessons, meetings with children and adults, and distribute leaflets and recommendations on the safe use of pyrotechnics, electric garlands, and other festive attributes.

The goal of the campaign is to form a safety culture among the population and prevent emergencies during the winter holidays.

In everyday life, we often perceive rules as a formality. But it is they that become an invisible shield that protects us and our loved ones from disaster. This is especially true during the winter holidays, when the lights of garlands, candles, and fireworks create an atmosphere of joy, but at the same time increase the risk of emergencies.
