During these days, vehicles must travel with their low beam headlights on during daylight hours (Clause 166.9 of the Traffic Regulations).

Special attention will be paid to compliance with speed limits, as well as the rules for crossing pedestrian crossings and the safe transportation of minors.

The State Automobile Inspectorate urges drivers to be extremely careful when driving near children's institutions, crossing unregulated pedestrian crossings, transport stops, and in courtyards.

For violations, administrative responsibility is provided in the form of a warning or a fine of up to 3 basic units.

For the past period of 2025, 19 road traffic accidents have been registered in the Vitebsk region, in which 17 children were injured and two died.
