During this period, traffic police officers are recommended to strengthen control over the road situation, and drivers should exercise increased vigilance. Special attention should be paid to the correct use of lighting devices: driving must be carried out with low beam headlights or daytime running lights turned on. Failure to comply with this rule entails administrative responsibility – a warning or a fine of up to 3 basic units.
However, road safety depends not only on drivers. Pedestrians are full participants in road traffic, and their actions must also comply with the Traffic Rules. It is important for parents to have a timely conversation with their children about the rules of behavior on the street, to explain how to recognize a dangerous situation and avoid accidents.
