Last weekend, rescuers from the Glubokoye district, along with their families, held a sports ice fishing competition. This event has become a tradition and is being held for the second year in a row on the eve of spring on Lake Plissa, which delighted outdoor enthusiasts not only with their catch but also with beautiful scenery.

Arriving at the reservoir early in the morning, all participants received instructions on safety measures and listened to the announced nominations and competition rules. After that, they went to the "fishing spots," where they spent most of the daylight hours waiting for luck and good biting. Some were actively searching for fish, constantly drilling new holes, while others, having baited one spot and set up a tent, patiently waited for the fish to come to them. To jump ahead, it should be said that the "waiting" tactic won.

After the set time, all participants returned to the initial assembly point to determine the competition results. Based on the weighing, measurement, and recording of all data into the protocol, the competition results were summarized. The winners were awarded by the head of the department, Vasily Vladimirovich Zavadsky, who thanked all participants for responding, finding time, and having the desire to participate in the competition.

As a result, all participants of the event, without exception, received not only certificates and gifts but also good impressions from the beautiful weather and picturesque landscapes, and also had the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful fish soup cooked over a campfire.
