Employees of the Glubokoye District Department of Internal Affairs celebrate Police Day

The celebration was opened by the Head of the Glubokoye District Department of Internal Affairs, Igor Dekhtyаr. Igor Vasilyevich emphasized that the employees of the district police department honor the traditions laid down by their predecessors, sacredly preserve the memory of those who died in the line of duty, strengthen the connection between generations, and conscientiously perform their official duties to protect the peaceful life of citizens and society.

– The best work in the police force: those who served their international duty in Afghanistan, eliminated the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster; those who followed in the footsteps of their fathers and became continuers of police dynasties; those who, based on their professional performance, are recognized as the best not only in the district department but also in the internal affairs system of the Vitebsk region and the republic. Thank you for the results worthy of pride and for the difficult but so necessary service to society, – said Igor Dekhtyаr.

During the celebration, Igor Dekhtyаr, Military Commissar of the Glubokoye and Sharkovshchina districts Sergey Krasnodubsky, Chairman of the Public Association "Belarusian Union of Officers" Alexander Alekhnovich presented the best employees and veterans of the district department with badges "For Distinguished Service", "Police Excellence", honorary diplomas, certificates, and commendations from the Department of Internal Affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, as well as commendations from the Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakov.
