For the formation of an infrastructure for active recreation, the popularization of a healthy lifestyle, the involvement of various categories of the population, especially rural residents, in regular physical culture and sports, the creation of a system for the rehabilitation and adaptation of persons with disabilities to a full life through physical culture and sports, the State Institution "Glubokoe District Health and Sports Center" operates.
The center's balance includes: a rhythmic gymnastics hall; an athletic gymnastics hall; a swimming pool, a dry swimming hall, a sauna; a hockey rink (Polevaya str.); a multipurpose court (Sovetskaya str.), an artificial turf mini-football field (Severnaya str.).
The preparation of sports reserves for the national teams of the Republic of Belarus in sports is carried out by the State Specialized Educational and Sports Institution "Glubokoe District Children and Youth Sports School".
The Glubokoe District Children and Youth Sports School has its own sports facilities:
a stadium with 2500 seats with four running tracks, modern "SPURTAN" surface, throwing and jumping sectors;
a specialized sports hall for Greco-Roman wrestling;
a sports hall 36x18 m for mini-football, volleyball, and tennis;
a gym 48x8 m with a full set of professional exercise machines, a 50 m artificial treadmill.

In addition, the **Vitebsk Regional Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of Trade Union Olympic Reserve for Weightlifting and Boxing "Sportalliance"** institution operates here.
There are 146 physical culture and sports facilities operating in the district.
The annual district calendar plan provides for the holding of physical culture and health-improving and sports and mass events among workers of all sectors and students of educational institutions in accordance with the district, regional, and republican calendars.
