Rescuers instill safety knowledge in children

Teaching the younger generation the rules of safe behavior and drawing parents' attention to child safety issues are the main objectives of the republican campaign "In the Spotlight, Children!". Employees of the Glubokoye District Department for Emergency Situations met with schoolchildren, preschoolers, and the adult population to teach children vital rules in an engaging format.

Rescuers told schoolchildren about the effectiveness of autonomous fire alarms, reminded them of the rules of safe behavior at home and on the street, reinforced the skills of using a fire extinguisher, and also introduced the children to the mobile application "Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus: Help is Nearby".

Boys and girls gladly answered questions in contests and quizzes on the topic of life safety, solved riddles, and worked through situational problems.

Ministry of Emergency Situations employees introduced schoolchildren to the profession of a rescuer, and also answered questions of interest to the children, watched educational films, and as a memento of the meeting, the children received useful visual aids.
