Oblast headquarters for countering the spread of COVID- 19: 1.4 thousand beds are provided for patients with pneumonia and COVID-19 in Vitebsk Oblast
In medical institutions of Vitebsk Oblast, 1.4 thousand beds are provided for patients with pneumonia and COVID-19. This was announced before a meeting of the oblast headquarters to counter the spread of COVID-19 by the head of the main health department of the oblast executive committee, Mikhail Vishnevetsky.
According to the head of the main department for health care, the oblast has seen an increase in the spread of acute respiratory infections by 2.7% compared to last year.
