Hygiene products, special footwear and clothing. What "Bellegprom" enterprises offer for people with disabilities

Products of the "Bellegprom" concern enterprises, intended for providing disabled people with hygiene items, were presented at the exhibition before the meeting of the Republican Interdepartmental Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, chaired by Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Natalya Petkevich, BELTA correspondent reports. Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection Marina Artemenko noted that in addition to the meeting, domestic manufacturers are today presenting products focused on the needs of people with disabilities. "The main task today is to demonstrate the capabilities that domestic manufacturers have today in the production of hygiene products. To familiarize with them, first of all, public associations of disabled people. And also to consider the entire range of products manufactured, quality, assortment," she added. "Today, enterprises that cooperate with "Bellegprom" enterprises are also represented. In particular, this is our Belarusian Prosthetic and Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center. And it today presents both orthopedic and preventive footwear, which is in high demand in the market."
Marina Artemenko emphasized that a collection of clothing is presented at the exhibition. "This is clothing for disabled people, presented by the fashion center in cooperation with the "Slavyanka" enterprise. And this clothing collection is specifically for wheelchair users. Of course, there are some features in the design of this clothing," she said.
Four manufacturers of the "Bellegprom" concern are currently involved in the production of products intended for people with disabilities.Founder of SOOO "Medvatfarm", which is the founder of OOO "MedLen", Ryszarda Olizarowiczsaid that the enterprise produces the following products. "These are personal hygiene products for children and adults. Among the new products are absorbent diapers with cotton and linen, completely natural. Instead of wood pulp, an absorbent layer of cotton and linen is used here. They do not clump. In addition, they are sterilized, which is very important. During manufacturing, anything can happen, so we sterilize them after production. Diapers for medicine are also sterile, sterilized. Soon, diapers 180 cm long will be on sale - they have an absorbent central layer and side patches for the mattress," said Ryszarda Olizarowicz. The company also presented diapers that can be worn for up to 12 hours. "These are night diapers that absorb a lot of liquid. They are suitable for bedridden people, among others. They are 50% cheaper on the market than foreign analogues with the same absorbency," added Ryszarda Olizarowicz.
Viktor Lakota, Director of JSC "Perfume and Cosmetics Factory "Modum - Our Cosmetics," noted that his company produces, among other things, disposable hygienic diapers that can be used for both small children and adults who require special care. "We make diapers of various sizes and absorbency levels. The composition includes a superabsorbent that turns liquid into gel. They are also used in medical institutions. We also make different packaging - from one diaper to 30 pieces," he said. "The raw materials used are mainly Belarusian-Russian. The product quality is certified in accordance with the requirements for products of this purpose in our country." "The product quality is good. We can supply these products to pharmacies and medical institutions. Mothers buy them for small children. Our product range is constantly changing, but after testing. We are developing new types of products with increased absorbency," added Viktor Lakota.
Director of OJSC "Fashion Center" Alexandrina Orlova presented an adaptive clothing collection. "This is clothing designed specifically for wheelchair users. It is developed in accordance with the specifics of sitting. For example, to prevent wind from blowing in from below. An enlarged waistband has been made. Additional zippers have been created for ease of dressing and undressing. The shirt also features a zipper at the back, allowing it to be put on from the front, and then fastened by an assistant from behind. Pockets, patch details, and zippers are designed taking into account the specifics of sitting in a wheelchair," she explained. "The color palette has also been chosen considering the spring-summer collection and the wishes of wheelchair users themselves, who also want to be fashionable, bright, and stand out in our society. This is the first collection, a pilot project. We hope it will continue to develop," added Alexandrina Orlova.
In addition, orthopedic footwear, individually developed by the Belarusian Prosthetic and Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center according to individual requests, was also presented at the exhibition.
