The republican information and propaganda campaign "Children in the Spotlight!" will be held from August 19 to September 13.

The republican information and propaganda campaign "Children in the Spotlight!" will be held from August 19 to September 13. Its goal is to draw adults' attention to the problem of child injuries and deaths from external causes, including fires due to leaving them unattended.

The sad statistics on the causes of fires show that children's mischief with fire often becomes the cause of fires. Children, due to their curiosity, are prone to independently exploring the world around them and imitating adults, which, in turn, can lead to irreversible consequences.

This is precisely why the MChS is conducting the upcoming campaign "Children in the Spotlight," which will be implemented in two stages.

Thus, from August 19 to 30, preventive measures will be held in shopping centers and other retail outlets specializing in the sale of goods for children. Thematic zones with fire safety attributes and interactive educational platforms will be presented to young visitors and their parents. MChS employees will remind parents about the dangers of leaving children unattended and suggest how to protect their families from emergencies, as well as offer to take the "Safety Exam."

The venues for the second stage, which will last from September 2 to 13, will be educational institutions. As part of the second stage of the campaign, MChS employees will meet with primary school students at "Safety Lessons," where they will tell the children about safety rules, how to save their lives, and prevent emergencies. The children will also watch educational films and participate in preventive discussions.
