The solemn award ceremony of the youth prize "Recognition" was held in Glubokoye

This event was held as part of the patriotic marathon "Time of Your Opportunities," which brought together active and talented youth from all over the Vitebsk region. The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Vera Telitsa, Chairperson of the Glubokoye District Council of Deputies; Natalya Markovich, Senator for the Glubokoye Electoral District and member of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic for Regional Policy and Local Self-Government; Tatyana Tarasevich, Deputy Chairperson of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee, as well as heads of departments and services of the district executive committee, heads of regional institutions, and representatives of political parties and public organizations.

The main goal of holding such events is to support initiative and talented young people, involve them in the socio-economic development of the region, and implement state youth policy in the Vitebsk region. Young people who have distinguished themselves in various fields of activity received well-deserved awards.

The solemn opening of the event was made by Vera Telitsa. Addressing the attendees, she emphasized the importance of youth participation in the country's development and noted that every young person has the opportunity to contribute to the future of Belarus. Vera Telitsa expressed confidence that young leaders, activists, and specialists will become the support for their small homeland and the entire state.

– You are our future, our hope, – she said, encouraging those gathered for new achievements and accomplishments.

After the opening, the award ceremony for the best representatives of youth began. The first nomination announced was "Youth Leader of the Year." The winner in this category was Anastasia Barsuk, who works as a lawyer at the production unit "Glubokoyegaz" and is actively involved in public activities, serving as the secretary of the primary organization of the public association BRSM and the chairperson of the council of working youth.

The next nomination is "Young Specialist of the Year," where the victory was won by Leonid Korzinok, Senior Lieutenant, district inspector of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Glubokoe District Executive Committee. His professionalism and dedication to his work did not go unnoticed.

Natalia Markovich addressed the participants of the meeting with a welcoming speech. She thanked everyone present for their active participation in the life of the district and the region, noting that youth is a time of great opportunities and aspirations. After that, Natalia Markovich announced the winner in the "Discovery of the Year" nomination. It was Denis Krivorotov, an instructor-methodologist in adaptive physical education. Denis successfully participated in a number of sports projects, including the TV shows "Heroes. Transformation" and "Superninja," and also showed high results in the sports event "ZakalFest."

Next, Oleg Apetenok, Deputy of the Regional and District Councils of Deputies, Chairman of the Glubokoe District Branch of the Belarusian Party "Belaya Rus," took the floor. He announced the winner in the "Best Student Detachment Fighter" nomination. This honor was awarded to Anna Gulyashko, a student of the Glubokoe District Gymnasium, who has been participating in student work semesters for several years.

Tatyana Tarasevich, Deputy Chairman of the Glubokoe District Executive Committee, named the family of Vladimir and Elena Sandyuk as the winners in the "Young Family of the Year" nomination.

Lyudmila Karnilovich, Head of the Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Glubokoe District Executive Committee, presented the authors of the "Night of Museums" project as winners in the "Youth Project of the Year" nomination. This project was implemented by the staff of the Glubokoe Historical and Ethnographic Museum.

Tatyana Matyushonok, Head of the Culture Department of the District Executive Committee, awarded Victoria Savitskaya, head of the exemplary pop dance ensemble "VeraNika," in the "Creative Breakthrough of the Year" nomination. The ensemble, led by Victoria, has repeatedly won prizes at international competitions, confirming the high level of their skill.

In the "Athlete of the Year" nomination, the victory was won by Polina Katushonok, Master of Sports of the Republic of Belarus in weightlifting. Her successes in the sports arena were noted by Tatyana Zevalich, Head of the Sports and Tourism Department of the District Executive Committee.

Konstantin Blin, an accountant at the agricultural enterprise "Meretskiye," received an award in the "Smart Person of the Year" nomination for his active participation in organizing intellectual tournaments in the district. Tatyana Gavrilova, Head of the Education Department of the District Executive Committee, conveyed her congratulations to him.

The district committee of the public association BRSM won the "Youth Event of the Year" nomination for organizing the environmental game "Clean Games," during which over 1600 kilograms of garbage were collected. Alesya Shchelkun, Chief Physician of the Glubokoye Regional Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, presented the award to the young people.

The "Avangard" detachment, established at the Glubokoye State College, was recognized as the best in the "Best Youth Law Enforcement Detachment" nomination. Igor Dekhtyar, Head of the Glubokoye District Department of Internal Affairs, congratulated the members on this achievement.

Anna Ambrosovich received the title of the best trade union activist, and her success was noted by Natalya Voityul, Chairperson of the Glubokoye District Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Education and Science Workers.

The ceremonial event concluded with a festive concert prepared specifically for the participants and guests of the ceremony. The artists gifted everyone present with vivid emotions and unforgettable impressions.

Lyudmila Karnilovich, Head of the Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee, highly praised the significance of the event and emphasized its importance from the perspective of state youth policy:

– Holding events like the awarding of the youth prize "Recognition" plays a special role in supporting initiative and talented youth. We see how important it is to create conditions under which young people can demonstrate their abilities and talents, and contribute to the development of our region and the country as a whole. State policy is aimed at providing young people with opportunities for self-realization, stimulating their participation in socially significant projects, and promoting their professional growth.

This event not only rewards those who have already achieved certain successes but also inspires others to reach new heights. When we see examples of success from our peers, it motivates us to move forward, set ambitious goals, and strive to achieve them. Therefore, I am confident that such events are of great importance for shaping an active civic stance among the younger generation and contribute to strengthening our country.
