A solemn event dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Glubokoye district was held at the city house of culture

Among them were representatives of regional and district authorities, deputies of all levels, natives of Glubokoye who hold high leadership positions in the Vitebsk region and in the republic, Honorary Citizens of the Glubokoye district, former heads of the district and the district council of deputies, heads of district executive committees and district councils of deputies of the neighboring Dokshitsy, Sharkovshchina, Miory, Postavy, Ushachy districts, labor veterans, honored workers of the Glubokoye region, representatives of the clergy, work collectives of enterprises, public associations, youth who continue and strengthen the good traditions laid down by their predecessors, the older generation, and the creative intelligentsia.

All those present at the celebration were welcomed by the Deputy Chairman of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee, Sergey Kashmilo. Congratulatory addresses were conveyed to the residents of Glubokoye by the Honorary Citizen of the Glubokoye District, former deputy Vladimir Andreichenko, member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the eighth convocation, Chairman of the Ushachy District Council of Deputies Natalya Markovich, Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus for the Dokshitsy Electoral District No. 22 Anatoly Sivko, Chairman of the Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee Galina Unukovich, residents of the twin cities of Glubokoye – Uvarovo of Tambov region and Severo-Baykalsky district of Russia. Representatives of the region and neighboring districts congratulated the residents of Glubokoye on their anniversary.

Congratulations on the 85th anniversary of the formation of the Glubokoye district were heard from former chairmen of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee Viktor Sinitckiy, Oleg Morhat, and former chairman of the Glubokoye District Council of Deputies Alexander Kalbasich.

Chairperson of the Hlybokaye District Council of Deputies, Vera Telytsa, thanked them for their work for the benefit of their small homeland, their active life position, for their mentorship and interest in the district's affairs, which these people continue to show to this day. She presented them with letters of appreciation and wished them health, prosperity, peace, and longevity.

The presentation of a certificate of the Hlybokaye District Council of Deputies to Vladimir Razvadovsky, a peer of the district who survived the war, former chairman of the district council of veterans, a person who worked in Hlybokaye for over sixty years, an honored and creative individual, also became a solemn moment.

The video film about how the Hlybokaye district lived and developed over 85 years, the video sequence of the marathon "Hlybokaye: 85 Years of History and Achievements," as well as the meetings and heartfelt conversations that took place before and after the event in the corridors, evoked notes of nostalgia among many attendees.

At the end of the event, a canvas was brought onto the stage, sewn by the masters of the House of Crafts from elements of decorative panels that were passed from each rural council as part of the marathon "Hlybokaye: 85 Years of History and Achievements."

On the anniversary day, there were many gifts, kind, warm words and wishes, and, of course, musical congratulations prepared by the cultural workers of Hlybokaye.
