The employment service provides jobs for schoolchildren and students in their free time throughout the year.
Teenagers can work from the age of 14, but with the consent of one of their parents.
From the age of 16, young people can make this decision independently.
Young people aged 14 to 16 can perform light types of work that are not harmful to their health and development, and do not hinder the acquisition of general secondary, vocational-technical, and secondary specialized education.
Teenagers are engaged in repair work in school classrooms and lecture halls, improvement of educational institutions and social protection institutions, sewing garments, restoring library book collections, making soft toys and souvenirs, making stands, and other available types of work.
The following documents are required for the employment of young people in their free time:
- referral from the employment service
- passport or other identity document;
- certificate confirming studies at an educational institution;
- medical certificate of health status (form 1 zdor/u-10);
- written consent of one of the parents (adopters, guardians) for persons aged 14 to 16;
- work record book (if available);
- application for employment.
