The district has rich natural and historical-cultural resources.
The territory of the district is a standard of the landscape of the Belarusian Lake District. The district has 106 lakes, including the deepest lake in Belarus - Dolgoe, with a depth of 57 meters, and the third deepest lake, Ginko, with unique natural caves.
Glubokoe region is a true paradise for hunting enthusiasts. 25% of the district's territory is covered by forests. Hunting grounds cover 19.7 thousand hectares.

The attractiveness of the district for tourism organization is ensured by the regular holding of events such as festivals, fairs, holidays, sports events, and exhibitions. Events are planned annually in the district and are educational, entertaining, and attractive for tourists.
Tourism is very relevant for our region and is of great importance in the socio-economic and historical-cultural development of the Glubokoe region.

Create, inspire, travel! On May 15, the V Republican Contest of Social Advertising "#DiscoverBelarus" starts.
The Ministry of Sport and Tourism and the National Tourism Agency, with the support of the Ministry of Information, the Ministry of Culture, and the Ministry of Education, are holding the
V Republican Contest of Social Advertising "#DiscoverBelarus".
"#DiscoverBelarus" is your chance to contribute to the development of domestic tourism, draw attention to the unique corners of our country, and show that Belarus is not only "potatoes" but also incredible history, rich culture, and breathtaking nature.
What is #DiscoverBelarus?
It is a platform for creative self-realization, where everyone can express their love for Belarus through social advertising. Our goal is to inspire people to travel around their native land, discover unexplored routes, and see familiar places in a new light.
Contest Objectives
· Creating a positive image of traveling around Belarus.
· Drawing attention to tourist resources and unique sites.
· Popularizing the rich historical, cultural, and natural heritage of Belarus.
· Engaging citizens in the socio-cultural life of the country.

3 Nominations
1. "Slogan": come up with a short, memorable motto that will become a symbol of Belarusian tourism!
2. "Poster": create a bright, attractive visual image that you would want to see on billboards across Belarus.
3. "Video Clip": shoot an inspiring video about your travels around Belarus or tell about the country's tourism opportunities (sub-nominations: "Traveler's Video Clip", "Organization's Video Clip").

Absolutely everyone! Everyone who loves Belarus and can think creatively! Individuals (including children and youth), legal entities, and individual entrepreneurs – we await your applications!

Every year, the "#DiscoverBelarus" contest gains momentum! In 2024, a new record was set – 1315 applications!

Mogilev region became the leader in activity in 2024 – 232 applications! Regions know a thing or two about social advertising!
The most popular nomination remains "Slogan" – 735 applications! Brevity is the soul of wit!
All areas of tourism participate in the social advertising contest: cultural institutions, educational institutions, sports and fitness complexes, industrial and medical tourism facilities, Tourist Information Centers, and other organizations. Together, we will make Belarusian tourism even better!
2024 Trends: Artificial Intelligence and National Flavor
Modern technologies and timeless values – this is how the contest participants' works can be characterized. With the help of AI, new images of Belarus were demonstrated in 2024. It will be interesting to see if this year we will see a bison driving a BELAZ! But seriously, Belarus is associated with the following areas by most participants:
· Industry and Production: Belavia, Gomselmash, MTZ, BELAZ – power and innovation!
· Nature: storks, bisons, cornflowers, cranberries, cranes – the beauty and richness of our native land!

Contest Dates:
· from May 15 to September 10 – announcement of the competition, formation of an expert commission and a competition jury, acceptance of applications for participation in the competition and registration of competition entries;
· from September 11 to 20 – analysis and evaluation of competition entries, meetings of the expert commission and competition jury, summing up the competition results;
· from September 21 to 30 – preparation for the award ceremony for the competition winners. The announcement and awarding of competition winners with commemorative diplomas and gifts from partners will take place within the framework of the International Scientific and Practical Conference.
