On May 24, 2022, tactical special drills were held to eliminate an emergency situation involving an ammonia spill at the Glubokoye Milk and Canned Food Plant.

On May 24, 2022, tactical special drills were held to eliminate an emergency situation involving an ammonia spill at the Glubokoye Milk and Canned Food Plant.

According to the drill scenario, an ammonia spill and a fire at a transformer substation occurred. Units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations from Glubokoye and nearby garrisons, the facility's duty personnel, as well as the district's emergency services participated in the drills.

At the emergency site, combat zones were established to combat the simulated fire and ammonia spill. During the drills, the emergency situation was promptly localized and eliminated. The facility workers, Ministry of Emergency Situations units, and the district's operational services successfully coped with the assigned task.

The purpose of conducting such drills is to improve the practical skills of management bodies and forces in organizing and conducting emergency rescue and other urgent operations, to determine the degree of readiness of managers to control forces and resources, as well as to work out interaction issues in case of emergency situations.
