A mobile exhibition 'Pages of Victory' opened in Glubokoye

The exhibition features unique archival photographs, newspaper pages, materials from wartime newspapers, and post-war issues.

Elena Myadelets, Director of the Glubokoye Historical and Ethnographic Museum and Chairperson of the regional organization "Belarusian Society 'Knowledge'," told attendees about the history of the newspaper "Vitebsky Rabochiy," which was published during the occupation and distributed by partisans.

Tatyana Tarasevich, Deputy Chairperson of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee, was present at the opening.

Tatyana Leonidovna thanked the administration of the GUM shopping center for the opportunity to host the exhibition at the shopping center and noted:

– Each easel tells the story of a specific period. I am confident that every visitor to the exhibition, dedicated to the feat of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War, will discover something new for themselves.

The exhibition will be open from June 9 to June 15.
