Deep celebrated the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War

A solemn rally "We Remember. We are Proud," dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, was held in Glubokoye.

The leadership of the district, public organizations, representatives of enterprises, youth, and schoolchildren gathered in Victory Park.

Chairman of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee Alexander Shubsky addressed the rally participants:

– Victory Day is not only a sacred holiday but also a symbol of the unbreakable will, high patriotism, and spiritual greatness of the Belarusian people. Over eight decades, the immortal feat of popular memory has been filled with new facts and events, becoming even more valuable. It is our duty to never forget those who fell bravely in the battle against fascism.

Anatoly Sivko, a deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, took part in the solemn rally in Victory Park.

– The Great Patriotic War was the most severe trial for our country. Today, 80 years later, we acutely understand the value of peace. The current generation, recognizing itself as heirs of the victorious people, must remember that we now bear responsibility for the fate of our Motherland, – emphasized Anatoly Viktorovich.

Chairman of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee Alexander Shubsky, Chairman of the District Council of Deputies Vera Telitsa, residents of Glubokoye, and guests of the district laid flowers at the monument to the fallen soldiers-liberators of the Great Patriotic War.

The district leadership, rally participants, and veterans of the Afghan War honored the memory of the fallen internationalist soldiers.

With good spirits, smiles, and waving flags, the district leadership, deputies, representatives of labor collectives, departments, and organizations, and the youth marched in a column from Victory Park to the city's Central Square.

Glubokoye residents joined the "Belarus Remembers. We Remember Everyone" campaign.

Participants held portraits of soldiers whose memory has not faded. This is the greatest testament to the nationwide gratitude to the generation of victors.

On this festive Victory Day, interactive platforms were open for residents and guests of the district on the Central Square.

As part of the festive events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, a concert program "We are the Heirs of Victory" was held on the stage area on the shore of Lake Kagalnoye.

Young talented residents of Glubokoye participated in the concert program.

The celebration concluded with a festive fireworks display.
