A collegium of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus was held in Glubokoye, led by Minister Yury Gorlov.

Participants of the meeting – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus Yuri Gorlov, First Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Sergey Levkovich, Chairmen of District Executive Committees of the Vitebsk Region, specialists of district agricultural production departments – visited agricultural enterprises "Za Rodinu" and "Mereckie," where they familiarized themselves with working conditions and production processes.

At the expanded meeting of the collegium with the participation of the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin, and the Assistant to the President - Inspector for the Vitebsk Region Vladimir Yurkevich, current issues of the region's agricultural development and prospects for further growth were discussed.

The importance of implementing advanced work methods and increasing the efficiency of agricultural production was emphasized.
