A meeting of the presidium of the Glubokoye District Council of Deputies was held in Glubokoye

The main item on the agenda was the issue "On the implementation of the regional set of measures for the implementation in 2024 of the subprogram 'Marketing of Tourist Services' of the State Program 'Belarus is Hospitable' for 2021-2025.

The working meeting was attended by members of the Presidium – First Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee – Head of the Department of Agriculture and Food Alexey Abramchik, Deputy Chairmen of the District Executive Committee Tatyana Tarasevich and Elena Shalonko, Director of the Dvinskaya Experimental Forest Base of the Institute of Forest of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Eduard Dlugevsky, Chairman of the Plissa Rural Executive Committee Vasily Plissko, representatives of the Plissa sanatorium-resort complex, Private Unitary Enterprise "Kamenetskaya N. A.", Glubokoye Experimental Forestry, Unitary Enterprise "Housing and Communal Services of Glubokoye District", specialists of the sports and tourism sector of the District Executive Committee.

Tatyana Zevalich, Head of the Sports and Tourism Sector of the District Executive Committee, delivered a report on the main issue. She noted that the share of tourist services of Glubokoye region in the total volume of tourist services export of the region is 25.1%. The export growth rate last year compared to 2022 was 128.5% with a target of 120%. In 2024, 14 event-based activities were held in the district, compared to six planned.

Andrey Karandey, representative of the administration of the Plissa sanatorium-resort complex, Natalya Kamenetskaya, Director of Private Unitary Enterprise "Kamenetskaya N.A.", which includes the hotels "Arola", "Olgas" and "Glubokoye", Dmitry Lezhnevich, Director of Unitary Enterprise "Housing and Communal Services of Glubokoye District", Alexander Syropyatko, Director of Glubokoye Experimental Forestry, and Eduard Dlugevsky, Director of the Dvinskaya Experimental Forest Base of the Institute of Forest of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, reported on the work on organizing recreation and health improvement, and on the fulfillment of forecast indicators.

– Specialists of the tourism industry of Glubokoye and enterprises of the district, who jointly develop various tourism destinations depending on their field of activity, understand that by developing tourism, you are developing the region's economy. The Glubokoye district is the best in the region in terms of performance indicators because you have a strong team of specialists and competent interaction. Do not slow down your work pace. Develop the tourism hospitality system, introduce new services. Work on diversifying the export of tourism services and increasing their volume. Promote the region's tourism product in domestic and foreign markets. Improve the material and technical base of tourist facilities by attracting investments for these purposes, – summing up the work, Svetlana Astanina set new tasks and goals.
